I arrived at urgent care feeling very sick and worried about my health. The woman at the front desk was incredibly friendly and got me checked in right away. I was seen about half an hour later, and both the assistant and the PA listened patiently and attentively. I truly felt heard and cared for. They gave me a diagnosis and a prescription. Today I’m feeling much better and very grateful for everyone who helped me get here.

Dr. Ari was absolutely amazing!!! I live in Dallas, TX with my husband. We are here in Hamden, CT visit ing our 3 yr old grandson so it was my first time at Yales urgent care. Dr. Ari & Ivylisse. We’re both amazing! If I lived her, I would definitely want This to be my permanent Dr. Thank you again! Happy New Year🎊

When I got to the Urgent Visit facility in Hamden, CT I was not breathing, and had no vital signs. I had lost control of all of my bodily functions, my lungs were no longer working, and everything else on my body was shutting down. I had a fatal asthma attack. The incredible doctors and staff and their quick actions saved my life. The Urgent visit Doctor called the ambulance, and the incredible EMT ambulance technicians transported me by ambulance to Yale New Haven Hospital at York St in New Haven, Ct in less than five minutes. I was never seen in the ER. I was admitted into the Intensive Care Unit upon arrival where is where I spent most of my long stay in the hospital until I was transferred to a regular room a day a go once, I started to get better from my asthma attack, before being discharged today. I highly recommend! I applaud the Doctor and staff, and I am and glad and forever thankful, that they seen me, because I am alive now to talk about it. Thanks

This urgent care is one of the biggest I’ve ever seen! The woman that came to grab me and do my intake WAS WONDERFUL! We joked, laughed, she took everything I said seriously and got me to see the doctor quick/ easy! Will definitely return if I ever need a check up!

In/out great experience and service. Made my appointment online and was seen on time. Friendly medical staff and the receptionist was very pleasant. Dr. also professional.

I couldn’t have been more fortunate than to have Ariann J Kitchen on duty when I visited my local Yale Urgent Care Center in Hamden, CT. From start to finish, she was amazing!! Her depth of knowledge and skills regarding the reason for my visit was incredible; her communication skills made everything easy to understand; she was patient with all my questions; and showed genuine empathy throughout my visit. She was everything a patient could hope for!! She is awesome!!

The PA Carissa was very attentive. She went above and beyond for my care. Follow up calls, making sure all follow up appointments were scheduled etc. very happy with the care I received here. And this isn’t my first time here. I brought my son, and daughter here before and always been served with upmost sincerity.

Yale New Haven Health Care did a tremendous job caring for my son. He accidentally swallowed a quarter, and the team acted quickly and professionally. They were able to retrieve the quarter and also took X-rays to make sure it wasn’t trapped in his airway and to confirm its exact location. Their efficiency, thoroughness, and care gave us so much reassurance during a very scary moment. We are incredibly grateful for the outstanding care they provided. Thank you so much

I went to UC Saturday morning and had the most pleasant experience. It was my very first time there. Initially, I was hesitant because I didn’t know they took my insurance, but after booking online. My insurance was accepted. The receptionist at the front desk was ever so pleasant, friendly and professional. At 9am and a little overwhelmed. I was happy that she was so sweet. CC was a doll. She took my vitals. We joked around and she was helping me to find a new PC in the area since all my PC’s are in NY. Dr Monica ( and I hope I did get your name correctly. If not. I am so sorry). So I will say Dr. M. She was very professional. She walked me through my ailment and talked very kindly to me. All three ladies I encountered were very friendly. Thank you ladies!
